What a beautiful golf course and wonderful setting. I had a very enjoyable round in the company of some American friends and I would love to bring back some of my golfing friends from home.

Every bit the test of Carnoustie with even more majestic views. I played the St Andrews "The Old Course", Carnoustie, and Troon along with Royal Portrush and it is second to none.

I played Castlerock, Portstewart, Ballycastle and Royal Portrush each with a member in mid-September. I was fortunate to find The Royal in a tranquil state so "Calamity" only cost me a bogey 4.

Of those I played on the coast, Royal Portrush was my favourite. I did enjoy the first 8 holes at Portstewart (the Strand course)immensely but that course doesn't have the staying power that The Royal has.

I was impressed with your course but equally charmed with Northern Ireland. You should be proud!

I attended the 2004 Seniors Open and was made to feel at home by the members of the club attached to the parent club I was looking forward to returning this year but now I find that the Seniors won't be returning for the forseeable future which I find hard to understand, asmembers and staff went out of their way to make the event enjoyable to everyone who attended even though the weather could have been a little kinder. I look forward to the desision being overturned and the Seniors returning to your lovely golf course. Ian Bate

The Dunluce course may be the finest true links course in the world. I played there in 2001 and I'm returning there next month for another go.

Portrush ranks up there with all of the great links courses. It's not quite as difficult as Royal County Downs but it's not far behind. Callamity, the 14th, the most intimidating par 3 I've ever played!

Played 2 rounds at the "Valley " course and 1 round at the "Dunluce" course the 2nd week in June. All we can say is OUTSTANDING golf courses... period. Between the challenge, the views and surrounding beauty of the "links" courses, we did not want to leave. We really enjoyed links golf. These gems were two of the best courses I've ever played. We also played Portstewart and Castlerock and enjoyed them too.

My Wife and I were very fortunate to play Royal Portrush GC on May 26, 2005. It was an amazing experience. The weather was beautiful - the sun was shining and the wind was howling off the ocean. We will remember our trip to Portrush for a very long time.

Thanks!!

My favorite course in all the world. I have played here about 15 times, once in the Black Bush Tournament about 1988.

Met some wonderful folks through out the years playing here and around Ireland.

Was lucky enough to be able to walk on and play in August/05. Played with a member and met several others that all very nice. The course was perfect. Proximity to Giants Causeway and Bushmills makes this a must do trip. Did them all in a day driving from Belfast.
