We played the Dunclue Course in the morning 21st august and in the afternoon the Valley. We liked both courses very much. We found the Dunclue course most demanding. It was a very nice day at Portrush.

After playing 7 other courses in Northern Ireland, we have voted this the most difficult. Beautiful - but an extremely tough track.

I grew up in Portrush but first played the Dunluce in 2004, to celebrate my 60th birthday. It was enthralling and also nostalgic. From the eighth green I could see the caves I used to play in as a child. Am returning again in three weeks time, now a much improved golfer. Don't expect to beat the course and would gladly settle for a draw. Thanks to John Allen for his warm hospitality.

Portrush is one of the great courses of the world. But the course is being maintained with the fairways too narow and the rough is way too thick. Nobody enjoys losing balls, bring some strategy back to the course.

Forget 'The Old Course'; our favorite golf course continues to be Royal Port Rush. Not only is it challenging and beautiful, but the staff are friendly and the surrounding countryside is delightful. See you again soon! 'Tex'

Had a wonderful 36 hole experience with seven friends last week. Truly a challenge at every level requiring a thoughtful and strategic approach for every shot. Lovely views of the coast, the hills and the surrounding town. Not to be missed on any trip to Northern Ireland golf.

Played Dunluce last week and loved it. Made one of the best par saves in my golf career on 14. Rory was our caddy and he is great.
