I had the pleasure of playing on the beautiful day that Robin was doing some of the photos for this great web site. The pictures are outstanding but don't do full justice to your magnificent golf course. You have to see it in person!
Happy New Year.

Happy holidays to everyone at Royal Portrush. I enjoyed your site - I'm sure it looks pretty in the snow at this time of year!

Hello to the folks at Royal Portrush. I played your beautiful course some ten years ago and the photos brought back some great memories, even after that all that time. I will never forget the experience of playing Calamity Corner ... what a magnificent hole. I'd advise anyone that ever has the chance to play Royal Portrsuh at least once in their life. Great web site - keep up the good work! Best wishes to all

I HAVE PLAYED JUST ABOUT EVERY RANKED COURSE IN IRELAND AND SCOTTLAND AND BELIEVE RPR TO BE THE BEST. THE COURSE ,THE VIEWS, THE CADDIES, THE LOCATION ALL COMBINE TO MAKE THIS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I ONLY PLAYED IT ONCE IN AUGUST OF '03 BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK.
PS - HIT THE DRIVER STRAIGHT!

Born and raised in beautiful Ballymena and grew up with frequent visits to Portrush and the world famous links course.

Royal Portrush has the location in one of the world’s most beautiful islands and a golf course, which in my opinion, is in the worlds top five.

I have played golf all over the world and was Millennium 2000 Captain of The Links Country Park Golf Club in Norfolk, England.

I look forward to returning to play this most famous course and feel privileged just to walk on its hallowed turf.

Great web site and wonderful photographs I wish every one at Royal Portrush well for the future.

I have had the great pleasure of playing Royal Portrush on 9 different occasions now, the most memorable was qualifying as an amateur for the 1999 British Senior Open Championship played at Royal Portrush on the Dunluce course. I had the great pleasure of playing a practice round with Bernhard Gallacher in a 55 mph wind and he said to me "These are the toughest conditions that I have ever played golf in" An intersting story was that during that tournament, on the first hole on Thursday, I hit a 3 iron off the tee and then hit a sandwedge to the green. On Friday, I hit driver and a three iron. The wind does blow there and in different directions and the easiest holes one day are the hardest the next. Don't forget to play the Valley course as in my opinion it ranks is in the Top 20 links courses in the UK. It just doesn't get much play since it is connected with the Dunluce course. The sixth hole on the Valley course may be one of the toughest par three holes anywhere.

Great website for a great golf course. Easily one of the top links courses in the world in wonderful country to visit. The people are freindly and Old Bushmills is close by. Bring your "A" game and an appreciation for the scenery.

Played RPR in August 03. Off a 9 handicap played exceptionally well and guess what - only had 5 dings!!! This is one demanding golf links.

The beauty and challenge of the course is only matched by the slickness of the website. Wow!!!

Thanks Robin for providing the desktop wallpapers - I couldn't decide which one to use (typical woman, eh?) but now have used the second one down (14th hole?). Best wishes. :)

This course is the highlight of any trip I have ever taken to the UK and Ireland. My top three in no special oder would be, Royal Port Rush, Royal County Down, and Royal Dornach. They sure knew how to build great courses back then.

Heard nothing but good things about RPR. Hope to make it there next year with the Seniors. I am sure the experience will live up to the advance billing!
